Nobriga’s Miniature American Shepherds are bred and raised in sunny, tropical Iao Valley in Wailuku, Maui, Hi. Our dogs are ohana (family). You will always find well-loved and well-cared-for dogs when you visit. Founder and breeder, Bill Nobriga has owned and loved the Miniature American Shepherd since his first dog arrived in 1998. He loved the gentle, active nature of his first dog, Honi Honi, who was an Australian Shepherd. Honi was a loyal, intelligent, and a gentle sweetheart. Honi is forever part of the ohana as the mother to π (Pi) and grandmother to Chippi. Because of his passion and love for this remarkable breed, Bill wants to share his love, his aloha, for these incredible dogs with others.
